small group Science classes
At Freedom Christian Academy, professional educators provide weekly science lessons so you don't have to. No need to purchase science curriculum while attending FCA. We invite your K-6th grade kids to participate in our small group science classes on Tuesdays & Thursdays (9am - noon). Our 30 weeks of classes span August - May.
We will explore life science, physical science, and earth & space science through a variety of lessons, labs, and group discussions. In addition to meeting your science needs, our educators will also provide opportunities for math enrichment. While you cover a standard day-to-day math curriculum at home, we will create lessons in the classroom that connect those math concepts to real world math. Kids will discover how math is woven together and have a better understanding of how it all connects.
FAmily Connections
FIELDTRIPS: At Freedom, one of our goals is to provide opportunities for homeschool families to get out and explore Florida together. Fieldtrips will be available to our FCA families and additional homeschool families throughout the year at additional costs.
PARK DAYS: At Freedom, we love recess. Since we have a release time of noon, we encourage our FCA families to use these days as park/picnic days with other FCA or homeschool families. You never know when a FCA teacher might join in on the fun!

This one hour session with an educator is a great time for parents to talk through their curriculum/learning plans. Childcare is not available at this time.
