At Freedom Christian Academy, our school-year program focuses on God-centered science exploration that sparks curiosity and keeps your kids engaged. Our professional educators take the lead in delivering hands-on, meaningful science lessons, giving you as a parent the freedom to focus on other areas of your homeschool journey.
With a noon release, families have the flexibility to enjoy picnics in the park, spend quality time together, and allow kids the space to tackle reading and math lessons in the afternoon. By providing a few hours each week for students to collaborate with peers and learn from classroom teachers, we aim to support your family’s social and academic goals in a nurturing, faith-filled environment.

Freedom learners thrive in mixed-age learning groups, typically spanning 2–3 grade levels. This approach allows us to break free from rigid age-based assumptions about what children "should" learn at specific grade levels. Instead, we encourage all students to stretch toward the highest expectations within their group.
Research supports the value of mixed-age classrooms: A study published in the Review of Educational Research found that children in mixed-age settings often show greater social-emotional development and are more likely to help, teach, and collaborate with peers. Younger students benefit from exposure to more advanced material, while older students deepen their understanding by mentoring others.
