Stefanie Ayres- director/ 6-8th teacher
Stefanie is a graduate of Cornerstone University and master's graduate of Western Michigan University. She spent 30+ years in public and private education. She's super excited to share her experiences with students and parents especially in the areas of Math, Science & Social Studies.
Stefanie will be teaching science and social studies for the 6th - 8th grade classroom and the Freedom Studio Enrichment Class.
Stephanie Clark- 3-5th Teacher
Stephanie is a graduate of USF. She has spent almost 25+ years in education including public schools, co-ops, homeschool hybrids and homeschooled her own child through high school graduation. She's looking forward to using her combined experiences to equip parents to tackle the challenges of homeschooling.
Stephanie will be teaching science and social studies for the 3rd - 5th grade classroom.
Carly Swan- K-2nd Teacher
Carly has her Bachelors degree in Elementary Education K-6 with Endorsements in Reading, ESOL, and Gifted from the University of Central Florida. She has spent 9+ years teaching in a public elementary school and at FCA and is passionate about helping young learners reach their fullest potential and thrive in an enriched educational environment.
Carly will be teaching science and social studies for the Kindergarten - 2nd grade classroom and Freedom Studio Enrichment Class.
Mary Velasquez - Kindergarten - 2nd Grade
Mary Velasquez is a graduate of University of Central Florida and spent the past two years teaching first grade at Longwood Elementary School. She is excited to join Freedom Christian Academy, where she will be teaching science and social studies for Kindergarten through second grade students.
Mary will be teaching science and social studies for the Kindergarten - 2nd grade classroom.
Heather Holmes- Teacher Assistant
Heather has a Bachelors degree in Business and an Associate in Science in Early Childhood Education. She has served or worked in a variety of roles including children’s ministry, preschool teacher, adjunct professor, and student advisor. She is passionate about homeschooling and is enthusiastic about helping students find and preserve a joy for learning.
Heather will be assisting with Science and Social Studies for the 3rd - 5th grade classroom.
Phil Ayres- Golf Coach
Pastor Phil serves as the instructional coach for our FCA Golf Program. He is passionate about both golf and Bible teaching, combining the two to inspire and encourage young athletes. Phil recently published Little Lessons from the Fairway, a devotional book that shares spiritual insights drawn from the game he loves.
Phil is an avid golfer with over 20+ years of experience playing and studying the game. He believes golf is a lifelong game and tailors his coaching to each student—keeping it simple or diving into the technical details as needed. Watching others grow in confidence and passion for golf is what he enjoys most.
Matt clark - Bible History
Matt will be teaching Bible History- New Testament Survey for middle school.
Jett Marrow- Music lessons
Jett Morrow is Lifepoint’s Worship Director and also assists with Merge, their group of
middle and high school students. He began playing the piano at 5 years old, learned percussion
in middle school, and self taught the guitar in high school playing live shows with his best
friends. Jett is passionate about music and looks to make lessons fun and approachable for kids
of all ages. He is currently offering guitar and piano lessons with the potential to also include
percussion in the future.
